Basketball Camp

Evolution summer camp offers youth athletes of all ages the opportunity to develop and strengthen basketball skills and fundamentals.

Campers will participate in a variety of competitive drills and games that are fun and challenging. Individual and team prizes will be given out throughout the week to the hardest working campers.

Daily Schedule

Monday – Players and coaches will get acquainted and begin working towards developing individual and team basketball skills, overall fundamentals and friendships. Campers will receive one on one focus on their shooting form and mechanics that will continue to be developed throughout the week.

Tuesday – “Jersey Day”, is a fun day where everyone gets to rock their favorite jerseys at camp. Campers will participate in 1 on 1 competitions, shooting knock out, “dribble war”, shooter’s king of the court and more! The top two campers with the most individual wins will receive “Evolution Basketball” shooting shirts.

Wednesday – “Speed and Strength Conditioning Day”, campers will participate in a variety of speed and strength drills that will increase speed, “first step” quickness, and upper body strength. The second half of the day will be filled with ball handling, attack moves and finishing. The day will conclude with 5 on 5 scrimmages.

Thursday – On “Team Prize Day”, campers will learn the importance of teamwork and team play. After working on individual skills for the first part of the day, campers will be broken up into teams where they will compete for the “Prize of the Week”.

Friday – Campers get to take their newly improved basketball skills into competition! After an hour of strength and speed conditioning, campers get the chance to play the coaches and fellow campers 1-on-1, compete in a variety of shooting and relay races, and will conclude with a 5 on 5 scrimmage with the coaches.

Campers will have a chance to take a snack/lunch break from 11:00am -11:30am to fuel up for the second half of the day. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
